Personal

Dwight was born in Los Angeles, California. The son and grandson of American diplomats, he grew up in Colombia, Sweden, Turkey and Venezuela. He majored in political economy at Williams College and married his college sweetheart, Susan Leary Sipprelle. Together they have five children, ages eight to twenty-one.
